Over the Counter Drugs in Schools Jodie Fox 9781794131576 Books Reviews

  • It took courage to write a personal journey and that in itself is an admirable trait. Jodie writes about each step along the way of her ordeal and how it changed her from day to day, week to week, year to year and to the present time. I dont think anyone can understand personal experience of another unless they go through it themselves, but I found it amazing to understand her journey from the way she has described it.
It is a book that could be available in a doctor's waiting rooms, youth groups, schools, as well as colleges. This book could be anybody's journey in life and many could relate to Jodie's experience. I commend her for sharing her journey with others as well as her talent for writing this very informative book.
  • A well written scratch on the surface of an epidemic that is plaguing our children. The author admits the sample from which she pulls her insight is small but I assure you it is still eye opening. With image issues, ease of access, and lack of understanding all taking bits of blame for the problem, Ms Fox seeks answers on how to stem this ever-growing addiction to over the counter “fixes”.
  • As a public high school teacher, this book caught my interest. I knew that illegal and prescription drugs were an issue but I had not idea that OTC drugs were such an epidemic. I found this book an eye-opener.
  • Inspiring work. A much needed conversation in a world earning for a better way. It takes courageously vulnerable people like Jodie to share her story so that others may come forward. Bravo 5 out of 5 !!
  • Opens everyone's eyes about a problem rarely addressed. A read for everyone who has or works with children.
  • Amazing insight and a version that many of us may actually understand!
